New mother wearing H and M with baby boy wearing Carters Romper

As a newborn and family photographer in Pinehurst, one of my favorite aspects of my job is taking the time to help client's uncover their perfect vision for their family session. In Moore County we have so many families who love being outside, hiking, and enjoying nature so it is only natural that I often find myself photographing on the gorgeous trails of Weymouth woods.

I was so excited when Mandy and Adam asked to do their newborn shoot outside in the woods, allowing us to capture this stunning sunset and gorgeous glow. As a dog lover, it was a joy to include their sweet dog Cloudy in their family shots. Dogs are such an integral part of families that I always love when client's bring along their pups! I always make sure to grab an image or two of any animals during a family session for the parents and family.

It is important to reach out early for newborn scheduling, but what does that mean? I love doing newborn photography and work hard to accommodate as many requests as I can. I typically photograph newborns in the mid-morning hours for at home sessions and the evenings for outdoor sessions. Once a deposit is paid to reserve a session, I will place your due date on my calendar. Once you have delivered I will await your news and then we will schedule a newborn shoot typically 7-14 days after delivery. We will work together to determine the best location for your vision and complete a questionnaire to make sure I have everything I need to know to deliver the beautiful images you dream about for your family.
